Questions

What is a WeFact MCP server?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the standard AI assistants use to talk to other software. This MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT and other AI clients read your WeFact administration, so you can ask questions in plain language instead of clicking through reports.

Can the AI change or send invoices?

No. The server is read-only. It cannot create, change, send or delete anything in WeFact, and it cannot register payments.

Which AI clients work with it?

Any client that supports remote MCP servers, such as Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor. You add one URL and sign in once.

How is my WeFact API key stored?

Encrypted, and only used to answer your own requests. It never appears in logs or in the answers your AI assistant receives.

Is this an official WeFact product?

No. This is an independent service that connects to the public WeFact API. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by WeFact.
